At 5¼ inches across, the pink-and-yellow flowers gather into a small, concentrated composition—almost a porcelain garden held in the palm. Bernardaud made these bowls in Limoges during the early 20th century as part of pattern BER130. That exact number joins maker, place, and design in one precise reference, allowing each piece to find its way back to the correct service after decades of separation. Eleven bowls remain. Their scale is unusually useful: right for berries, sauce, dessert, or a few blossoms set low down the table. Together, the group can serve a larger gathering without losing the intimacy of the individual form. Arrange several along the center of a dining table with lemons or small garden flowers, then return one to each place when dessert is served.
