The 9.75-inch plate feels generous without heaviness, leaving enough porcelain open for the Schleiger 67 pattern to hold its own. Made by Haviland in Limoges between approximately 1890 and 1926, it carries the exact pattern identification that allows a century-old service to remain coherent across generations. Four dinner plates remain, enough to restore several places or create an intimate table of their own. Their history is precise but their use need not be formal: one plate can anchor a layered setting or stand upright as a small piece of French decorative art. What matters is the continuity of maker, place, and pattern embodied in the porcelain itself.
